CLOSE TO COMEFORBREAKFAST

During Milan Fashion Week, at Corso Como 10 Via Tazzoli, we presented the last chapter of the trilogy of photographic projects that began with “Unsuitable” and continued with “Would you Comeforbreakfast?“.
The project by the name “Close to Comeforbreakfast“, is created in collaboration with fashion editor Alessia Vanini and photographer Andy Massaccesi. For these shots we wanted to include the people that make this brand possible, like the owner of our knitwear factory, our pattern maker, our mentor and even our lawyer. These are the people that have always worked with us and believed in our brand.
The protagonists in these portraits wear garments from our Fall/ Winter collection that was presented to press and buyers. A sophisticated but at the same time essential collection, with outfits designed to balance color and shapes within an unstable and intentionally disordered dimension, breaking the chromatic and stylistic balance.

The result is a photographic story focused on people engaged in a universal yet infinitely intimate moment like the ritual of breakfast.  The pictures tell very personal, everyday stories in various European cities: the choice of the clothes worn, the time, the food and the place were all free and individual in order to represent the people, their world and their habits.

UNSUITABLE

During Milan Fashion Week, at the Museum of Science and Technology, we presented our latest winter collection, alongside the shots of the UNSUITABLE photographic project, which we entrusted to photographer Benedict Brink and fashion editor Vittoria Cerciello.
Ten women from New York are the main characters of our story, the women we met and got to know during our travels. We were drawn to them by their personalities and attitudes. We asked them to tell us what it means to them to be Unsuitable.
It came spontaneously to accompany this story with a series of photographs that see them as accomplices and interpreters of our iconic pieces: blouse and trousers, an unchanging uniform – yet always different – articulated in 10 different fabrics and materials (from silk organza to leather, from jacquard to velvet) that becomes a statement, a multifaceted expression of the personality of each.
